We would like to inform you that Lion electric school buses operated by different transport providers, will not be in service on Monday, September 15, due to ongoing safety inspections.

Please see list of affected bus routes:

1-2-8-9-10-12-13-14-15-16-18-19-20-22-23-24-25-26-27-29-30-31-32-33-34-35-36-37-38-39-40-41-42-45, 61,62,63,65,68,69, 73,602,607, 105, 110,111,112,113,114,115,116,117,118, 119,120

If your child is assigned to one of these buses, we ask that you please make alternate transportation arrangements to ensure they can get to and from school safely.

If your child/children is not on any of the aforementioned bus routes they will have regular bus service.

Please note that the LBPSB has also put in place certain mitigation measures for SEED daycare services whereby parents with children in elementary school can drop them off early and pick them up later in the day should they have a need to do so.

We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we prioritize student safety. We will continue to share updates as soon as more information becomes available from Transport Canada, the Ministry of Education, and our transportation partners.
