The SEED (Social, Educational, Extended Day) daycare program that operates in our elementary schools, is a complementary service offered outside of regular class hours for preschool and elementary school children. The program provides and ensures a safe and harmonious living environment.
It is an organic part of the school’s educational project and compliments the cross curricular competencies, as well as the broad areas of learning. We collaborate and support each other as a school team to provide the continuity of care.
The activities provided by our qualified staff aim to promote and enhance overall development. We provide learning opportunities for students in a social environment. We help students exercise critical judgement, use their creativity, and develop their social skills.
Our SEED programs open at 7:00AM and close at 6:00PM and offer morning, lunch and after school services that accommodate parents’ schedule.
Fees are regulated by the MEQ and are subject to annual change.
Please contact your school’s principal or SEED technician for additional information about the rules and regulations, as well as fees and registration instructions.
