We would like to update you regarding the ongoing safety inspections being carried out on Lion electric school busses.

Please note that only the following busses operated by different transport providers will once again not be in service on Wednesday, September 17 and will remain off the road until further notice.

If your child is assigned to one of these busses, please make alternate transportation arrangements to ensure they can get to and from school safely.

Please note the LBPSB will offer SEED daycare services whereby parents of elementary bus users can drop them off early and pick them up later in the day should they need to do so.

Director General

Cindy Finn is currently completing her second mandate as Director General of the Lester B. Pearson School Board. She has been DG of the school board since August 2019 and has been with the LBPSB since 1999. Dr. Finn served as Director of Student Services at the LBPSB for 14 years prior to which she worked in various schools as a psychologist and a member of the Family and School Support and Treatment Team. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from McGill University and has been the recipient of several awards for her work in educational leadership and school mental health. Presently, she is Chair of the Leadership Committee for English Education in Quebec and was also on the Advisory Board for English Education.
“Serving the community through my career in education has been very rewarding. As a school board serving the needs of the anglophone population in our territory, we are sensitive to our unique realities and challenges in preparing our students as bilingual citizens of Quebec. I am committed to helping to create the best possible learning environments for our students, and I am privileged to be a part of a school board that is learner focused, community oriented, and dedicated to excellence in education,” she said.
