Félix Robitaille is a cis queer artist who grew up in Pierrefonds and attended Lester B. Pearson schools, while in the summers he would swim or work as a lifeguard at pools in the West Island community. Since finishing his degree in theatre studies at UQAM he has pursued projects synthesizing questions of identity and the climate crisis, the dynamics of food systems and their accessibility, as well as developing his craft in puppetry and sound design. He looks forward to his work ahead examining queer and trans experiences within the school system, is glad to be able to positively focus his energies redressing social inequalities, and hopes that the recommendations brought forward by the task force can lead to deep, actionable change in the future.
