Welcome to Clearpoint Elementary IB World School! First of all thank you for considering our school as your choice for where to send your child. We understand that making a decision about which school is the best fit for your son or daughter is not a simple one, and obviously very important.
Clearpoint offers the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme (PYP). This programme of inquiry is organized into a number of thematic units that are covered over the course of the school year. We are extremely proud of our program and the educational experience it provides our students.
We have worked very hard here at Clearpoint to establish a strong reputation for our academic program, for enrichment, for a wide-range of extra-curricular activities and for our warm and welcoming atmosphere. Programs
The Quebec Education Program (QEP) defines course requirements, content, competencies, progressions of learning and the framework for the Evaluation of student learning.
A Bilingual school offers students two core subjects in English, namely English Language Arts and Mathematics while Science, Geography and History are taught in French. This means that, from Kindergarten to Grade 6, students spend approximately half their week learning in English and approximately the other half learning in French.
The International Baccalaureate programme encourages students to become caring, active participants in their lifelong journey of learning. The programme empowers students to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally and globally.
The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) offers an inquiry-based, student-centered, transdisciplinary, curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding.
