Update – June 29, 2021: A letter from Mylene Drouin, the Director of Public Health, regarding vaccination again COVID-19 for students aged 12 to 17 (ENG | FR)



The provincial vaccination campaign for 12-17 year-olds is rolling out across the province. Youth in this age group are currently eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination. Please see below for a summary of how you can access the vaccine. To note, this schedule was set to help facilitate the vaccination process for children 12 to 17 years of age. It is also possible to vaccinate your child outside of these time slots.

Elementary Schools


Elementary School Students

(all Regions)


Families with children over the age of 12 are able to book appointments directly via Clic Santé.

The schools listed below will also have the opportunity to receive their COVID-19 vaccine via their school. 


Elementary school students that are 12 years old, or older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Verdun Elementary

Riverview Elementary


On June 18, from 4:00 – 7:00pm:

Students and family bubble members 12 years old, or older, are able to walk-in to the pop-up clinic set up at Beurling Academy. Appointments not required.


REQUIREMENTS:

    • Medicare card (original, photocopy, picture saved on smartphone)



Allion Elementary

On June 21, Allion students that are 12 or 13 years old, with consent, will be escorted by foot, to LCCHS to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Children's World Academy


On June 21, LaSalle Senior and CWA students that are 12 or 13 years old, with consent, will be transported to LCCHS to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Springdale Elementary

On June 18:

Vaccinations for Springdale students, 12 years old, or older, will be taking place at Springdale.

Sunshine Academy

On June 18:

Vaccinations for Sunshine students, 12 years old, or older, will be taking place at Springdale. Eligible students, with consent, will be escorted, by foot, to Springdale to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

On June 17, Maple Grove students that are 12 or 13 years old, with consent, will be escorted by foot, to Lakeside to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Vaccinations for Beurling students are taking place at Beurling Academy High School.

Family vaccinations:

Families also have the option of a drive-through vaccination. The whole family can receive their vaccines together in the comfort of their vehicle. An appointment for each individual is required.
